This is very nice indeed! Out of interest do you stick to certain keys or scales in your ambient patches as they always sound in tune with one another and a particular root key?

So even when I do not need the MicroFreak for its sound capabilities would you say a second-hand one could be a very cool and cheap controller for VCV Rack and my Eurorack?

I'm curious what GPU you have in your PC? This is a fairly chunky patch and I see you're peaking at 20-22% CPU/GPU usage. I'm guessing my system (an O.G. GTX-1050) would be at 40-50% for the same size patch. 😳

Thank you for great videos! Excuse the noob questions but, Im a little confused about the 24ppqn. How do I know that clocked is outputting 1 ppqn? Is that standard for a clock device? Also, if I'm sending clock from Bitwig to it, how do I know what ppqn is being used and thus what I need to multiply it with?

Polyphonic modulation is an absolute gamechanger that I don't see many people using in VCV! Even with something simple like vibrato, it sounds way more interesting. If you think about it, it's more like playing a chord where each note is played on a different monosynth, wheras most polysynths only have a single LFO per voice. My trick is to use a Bogaudio polycon set to 16 channels and stick it into the FM input of any regular LFO. This gives you unsync'd LFOs on each channel at different rates. That goes in every patch now!

Befaco Burst may have been around in hardware, but it's still fairly new in VCV. Is that worth showing? (Handy for that ratcheting stuff, or just other odd clocking stuff in general.)

damnit Omri, i spent an hour fiddling with this thing and following along through the video wondering why mine sounds a bit too clean and direct, and it was only in the last part of the video that I notice you pan over and show that your mixer's all going out through that Plateau filter!

Voltage_Controlled_Amplitude is way more logical.

The last stage of your clock divider section is driving me up the wall trying to figure it out. VCV's 4-input mixer, its delay panel and SEQ-3 sequencer got updated at some point and now look different and possibly have different outputs. i don't know if the SEQ 3 not having a Gate output is the cause, but i've tried setting absolutely everything else as close as i can in that section and all i get is a squelchy, toneless mess and can't figure out what the cause is.

It's easy when you have the money. I have the Moog Sub 37 TE, Make Noise 0-coast and 0-ctrl. I play them with Eventide Space and Zoom G2.

I love the Nutrinode, but i feel like a lot of people sleep of a very similar mod by Sha#BANG that works similarly, just with gravity instead. Lets you use + and - X/Y data as well as Velocity and average outputs for TONS of different modulation options
